We are excited to announce our worship team music album “Held Together” release on November 26th 2021.
All proceeds from the sale of the album will be going to Compassion’s child survival intervention in Uganda.
A message from the Pastors
As you know we will be making a return to Sunday Services at CLC on Lawford Road. We have been so grateful for fellowship over Zoom, our small groups and New Life Church that has enabled us to stay connected over the past 18 months. Because of the holiday season, we will just be holding two in person services in August, returning to weekly services in September. We won’t be running Kid’s Alive in August, but we will provide a little activity pack for the children. We are looking forward to being together and singing together. Although legal requirements around managing the spread of Covid have been removed, we are still responsible as a Church to manage the risk sensibly and will continue to follow the published Government guidelines. The Government is keen that we all respect each other and look out for people who remain at risk, or are cautious and this certainly fits in with New Testament teaching!
So here are our procedures:
We will still take bookings and seat people in their households. If you have someone you socialise with outside of church and you’re all happy to sit together, please let us know when you book, and we will sort it out. As little ones might get restless and want to walk around, we will set up the creche in the lounge area. We will continue with our one way system so please enter the building through the front door on Lawford Road and exit through the side door unless mobility is a problem for you or you have a pram or pushchair. Use the hand gel as you enter the building.
The Government expects and recommends that people wear face coverings in crowded areas. Therefore, given the size of our building, we are asking that face masks are worn unless you were previously exempt. We will be serving refreshments before the service which starts at 11am and will ask that you take a seat, and we will bring a drink to you. Please arrive in plenty of time before the service if you would like a drink. We will continue to open windows to ventilate the building so, if it’s a chilly day, dress accordingly! If it’s a very hot day, CLC is the place to be because we have air conditioning.
Any questions, please get in touch. If you can’t make it, we will live stream the service so
you can still be a part of it. We thank God for his people at CLC and for the gospel that has continued to change lives
even when the building doors were closed.
Rugby Christian Life Centre (CLC) is a lively local church family and welcomes newcomers, whatever faith you have.
Our service on Sunday morning begins at 10:45am. We start with coffee at 10.30am and then have an informal style service with contemporary praise and worship and relevant Bible-based teaching.
During our services we provide a creche for pre-schoolers and a kids’ activity group for primary school aged children.
The Church is affiliated to the Assemblies of God, Great Britain, and is a member of Rugby Revive network of Churches.
